BREAKING: Federal Judges To Hold Emergency Situation Meeting Over Barr And Trump

According to USA Today, Leaders in the Federal Judges Association have announced that they prepare to hold an emergency situation conference to discuss concerns concerning the Justice Department’s current intervention in Trump associate Roger Stone’s case.

District attorneys in the case recommended 7 to 9 years in jail for him for lying to Congress and witness tampering throughout the Russia investigation.

Here’s more from the USA Today report:

Philadelphia U.S. District Judge Cynthia Rufe, who heads the independent Federal Judges Association, stated the group “might not wait” up until its spring conference to weigh in on a deepening crisis that has enveloped the Justice Department and Chief Law Officer William Barr.

“There are plenty of concerns that we are worried about,” Rufe informed U.S.A. TODAY. “We’ll talk all of this through.”

AG Barr publicly retracted this initial sentencing later, after President Trump explained the recommendation as a “awful and very unjust situation” on Twitter.

Democrats now think the DOJ is being weaponized by Trump, despite the truth that the Justice Department is an executive branch agency anyways. Barr also rebuked Trump, stating the President’s tweets make it “difficult” for him to do his task during an interview with ABC News.In the now deleted tweet, Trump stated:

“This is an awful and really unreasonable scenario, the genuine crimes were on the other side, [and] absolutely nothing occurs to them. Can not permit this miscarriage of justice!”

This series of events from AG Barr and President Trump led to the entire prosecution group withdrawing from the case, with one resigning from their position in the Justice Department altogether in protest. The leader of

the group of judges, Philadelphia U.S. District Judge Cynthia Rufe, told USA Today that the emergency conference “could not wait.”

“There are plenty of concerns that we are concerned about,” she added. “We’ll talk all of this through.”

Cynthia Rufe said the group is “not inclined to get included with a continuous case, although they “voiced strong assistance” for the judge presiding over the case. Roger Stone is set to be sentenced by Judge Amy Berman Jackson on Thursday, despite recent discoveries in the case.Since President

Trump’s acquittal in the Senate, Democrats have actually amped up their attacks with a lot more with hunts. They are checking out claims that Giuliani, in addition to two of his former partners took part in a plan attempting to oust former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovich.

Together with this investigation, top Democrats such as Nancy Pelosi have called for an examination into Trump’s recent tweets regarding this situation with the Justice Department. How do you feel about this news? Let us know in the remarks below!
