Are You A Creep? These Five Signs Say You Are

This world has a lot of creeps filled into it, and most of us have had a chance to interact with a few creeps here and there, even if we didn’t want to. There are many different kinds of creeps out there. For instance, there are obnoxious creeps, scary creeps, weird creep, and awkward creeps. If you think you are a creep but are not sure, then these five signs can help you decide:

1.     You Stare

Starring makes people uncomfortable and there is no doubt about it. Even if people do not notice that someone is starring at them, there will be other people in vicinity who will notice.

2.     You Ask Questions That Are Awkward

Most people only like sharing personal matters with their family and close friends. Creeps however like to gather as much personal information as possible from other people, and if you like doing that too, then you may be a creep. It is important that you get to know a person properly before you really start asking personal questions.

3.     You Stalk

While modern technology has made the art of stalking effortless, it does not mean that stalkers are appreciated in society. There is a limit to stalking. For instance, if you keep track of someone’s daily life, then you might be drastically crossing the limits of stalking. There is no need for you to keep a track of everything that is going on in someone else’s life. Live your life first and then come to someone else’s life.

4.     You Do Not Value The Concept Of Personal Space

When it comes to social interactions, you need to keep in mind that everyone has their own personal space around them that should not be crossed. This personal space can be greater in the case of friends and acquaintances while lesser in the case of family and closer friends. It can be extremely awkward for people if you cross their personal space, and if you do so regularly, then you might just be categorized as creepy.

5.     You Are A Little Too Eager

There is certainly a huge difference in friendliness and freakiness. While it is perfectly fine to hang out with someone from time to time, if you get too attached or see yourself making a plan with then every day, then you might just be desperate and creepy. There is a limit to how much people want to see your face, and if you cannot respect that, then you might as well not make plans to begin with.

If you feel that one or more of these signs relate to you, then don’t worry. There is always time to fix your behavior. The first step towards any change is knowing that there is a change that need to be made. Upon acknowledgement, you can start taking concrete steps towards that change and become a better person.
