Try, Try and Try, Until You Succeed

Try, Try and Try, Until You Succeed This is a story about faith, determination and devotion. Once upon a time, there lived a king who was famous for his bravery and valor. Once he had to fight against a huge army with just a few men. The odds were not in his favor and the king lost the battle. He ran for his life and took shelter in a nearby cave. Soon he started to feel the despair of losing. He lost confidence in himself and decided to never take part in a battle again. He went as far as to think about giving up his kingdom and live in hiding for the rest of his life. The king was deeply engrossed in his depressing thoughts when an interesting scene caught his attention. He noticed a spider that was tirelessly trying to spin a web across the ceiling of the>>>

Does God Want Us to Succeed?—4 Bible Verses Say God Does

Does God Want Us to Succeed?—4 Bible Verses Say God Does Do you ever wonder if God wants us to succeed? In life, we want to achieve so many things, but our inability to do so make us question if God really wants people to succeed. God, indeed, wants us to succeed, but He wants us to work for it. The proof of God wants us to excel at life is mentioned in the following four bible verses: Choose the Path Leading to Success “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf>>>

11 Rules For Success

11 Rules For Success ~From The People Who Got It Right! No one is born a success, but everyone has the potential to become one. As Will Smith once said, “Greatness is not this wonderful, esoteric, elusive god-like feature that only the special among us will ever taste. It’s something that truly exists in all of us.” Not there yet? It might help to tap into some of the principles a few of the “already-greats” have used to dictate their own lives. While there is certainly no single road to success, there do seem to be some distinct, guiding blueprints to getting there. Find 11 guidelines for tapping into your innate greatness below. 1. Focus On The Process, Not The Result “Life is a journey, not a destination.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson “I never looked at the consequences of missing a big shot … when you think about the consequences>>>

How do you make your dreams come true?

How do you make your dreams come true? One of my favorite quotes is… “It’s never too late to be what you might have been.” ~ George Eliot Just think about that for a moment. Ray Kroc started McDonald’s when he was 52. KFC was launched when Colonel Sanders was in his 60s. And just the other day, I read where a grandmother with 41 grandchildren graduated from college. How old was she? She was 101…the oldest person in history to receive a college degree. She said it was her dream to become a college graduate and she made it come true! Our happiness in many ways ties directly to our “inner voice” that forever asks the question… “Are you moving toward your dream?” If your answer is “yes,” then hope breeds contentment. However, if the answer is “no, it’s too late,” despair may fester within your subconscious. You>>>

What is success?

What is success?  What is success? Only you can define it in your own life. In my own life, I have attempted to define both Success and Significance. To me, Success is secular. Significance is spiritual. It doesn’t matter how you define your own spirituality. Spiritual matters are always finer, deeper, and longer lasting than secular matters. Success focuses on three Fs: • Fans • Fame • Fortune Success is focused on tasks, even goals. Significance also focuses on three Fs: • Faith • Family • Friends But, significance focuses on purpose. Why am I here? What do I do with the talents, experiences and skills that I have? How can I make the world a better place? How do I plant seeds of greatness in the lives of those around me? How do I make an impact in the circles of influence where I find or place myself?>>>

Believe and Succeed

Believe and Succeed   You will agree, I am sure, that all thinking people have a sincere desire to succeed. You want to win; I want to win. No one sets out to deliberately destroy themselves – although I must admit, at times it certainly appears as if some people do. If everyone wants to win – why don’t they? There are probably many answers to that question. After talking with hundreds of people who do not seem to be able to make it happen, I have come to the conclusion that the answer to success is locked up in a seven letter word – “Believe.” Losers do not believe they can win. Why don’t they believe? I think there is an answer to that question and I’ll get to it in a moment. If you are having difficulty making something big happen in your life, listen closely. All the great>>>

Six (6) lessons about the way we treat people

Six (6) lessons about the way we treat people   1. – First Important Lesson. – Cleaning Lady During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read The last one: “What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?” Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the Cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50’s, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question Blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if The last question would count toward our quiz grade. “Absolutely, ” said the professor. “In your careers, You will meet many people. All are significant.. They Deserve your attention and care, even if all>>>

The “5 Big” Challenges in Life

The “5 Big” Challenges in Life By Dr. John C. Maxwell Successful people do not have less challenging lives than those who do not succeed. In fact, they may go through even greater challenges. What causes the separation? Successful people respond to difficulties differently. It’s easy to have a great attitude when things are going our way. Attitude doesn’t become the difference maker until challenges arise. In this edition of Leadership Wired, we’ll look at “The Big 5,” a list of the top challenges experienced by leaders, and we’ll discuss steps to develop an appropriate attitude toward each challenge. THE BIG 5 1. Discouragement Over the course of my life, I’ve discovered that every leader gets discouraged. Plans fail, dreams drift out of range, or goals suffer setbacks. However, not every leader responds to discouragement the same way. Attitude dictates whether a discouraged leader will give up or get up. Dealing>>>
