Is Father’s day around the corner or has it already passed? Regardless of when you read this blog, the ideas to celebrate what a great father your dad is should not be restricted to one day. You can celebrate the significant role your father has played in your upbringing by surprising him with an activity he loves to do. 1. Take Your Dad Fishing
Does your dad love to fish? If your dad is an outdoorsy type of guy, take him to the lake to fish. It will a great way to bond with your dad, as both son and father or daughter and father take the time out of their schedule to talk and fish.
2. Take Your Dad Travelling
If your dad barely gets a vacation, as work occupies him, you need to tell him to take a few days, use their vacation days, or go with you on road trip on the next upcoming long weekend.
3. Take Your Dad to a Cooking Class
Sign up for a cooking with your dad so both of you can cook up something tasty and appetizing. An alternate option to a cooking class is to cook dinner for your dad at home or cook food for the whole family at home. This will give mom a break!
4. Take Your Dad to a Museum
If your dad is an art and museum buff, take him to an art gallery or a play.
5. Take Your Dad to a Concert
If you know your father’s favorite band is playing in your hometown next, surprise him with tickets. For dads who do not like to go to concerts, but prefer soft and live music with dinner; take him to a diner that offers that.

With so many remakes of old classic movies coming up, you can treat your dad to one of those. Find out which movie your dad wants to see and take him there.
7. Take Your Dad to a Car Show
Like most fathers, your dad might also be a car fanatic. If a car show is happening somewhere near you or is a few hours away from your location, make a road trip out of it.
