Canadian Prime Minister becomes a Comic Book Hero!

Canadian a !

Did just early faint of surprise? But should , the has it all, the looks, the charm and of course the golden heart to be a stellar and all-time favorite superhero. This is exactly the reason why when the Canadian writer/artist Chip Zdarsky was asked by the Marvel comics to come up with a story for the Canadian superhero squad Alpha Fight, he decided on spot that he wanted Justin Trudeau to become a part of the story line. In his own words, he said, “He seems to be the popular culture association with Canada right now, right behind [Toronto rapper] Drake – and I probably couldn’t get Drake in the comic”!

So yes, all of the Trudeau fans out there, rejoice, because he is going to become a literal superhero appearing in comics. Trudeau has been depicted in a boxing ring with wearing red boxing gloves, white sleeveless shirt with a red maple leaf on it and a smile that could charm anyone! He is also seen to be sporting a tattoo on his arm. He will be on the variant cover of Marvel’s Civil War II: Choosing Sides #5 and the character will be his own. The greatest news, the comic is said to be released by the end of August!

Most people have been overjoyed to hear the news because there is no doubt in anyone’s mind, be it from Canada or otherwise, that the prime minister is nothing short of a real life hero with his kind words and strategies that have not only aimed to improve the politics and economics of Canada but the conditions of the refugees and others around the world. He is a man of his word who has done nothing but goodness for people of his own country as well as the others.

Though the office of the prime minister has not endorsed the idea, they have agreed to let it continue. Storyline of the comic focuses on the Alpha Fight, who take the help of Trudeau, their old boss in order to beat the evil and save the world. Comic artist Zdarsky said, “I liked the idea of him actually engaging them in an ethical debate. I didn’t want this to just be like a walk-on … rescued by superheroes and he thanks them and that’s the end of the story”.

The cover has been designed by Toronto based cartoonist Ramon Perez. According to Perez he wanted to show the prime minister out of a stuffy suit and tie and to make it as comic like as possible. He wanted to show how Trudeau was different yet perfect for the role of a superhero by putting him in the boxing ring, wearing boxing gear. Of course, the idea was also taken from the fact that Trudeau used to box and was actually great at it!

So Trudeau fans and followers all over the world, wait only a measly 2 months to have a comic where your favorite superhero is also your favorite prime minister!
