BREAKING: Homeowners run away as troops battle Boko Haram insurgents in Maiduguri

Numerous civilians fled their homes on Wednesday as soldiers fought Boko Haram insurgents who introduced attack on Jiddari-Polo area, a suburb near Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state.

Boko Haram insurgents had on Sunday night eliminated 30 guests from lots of tourists that were required to pass the night in Auno, a neighborhood 25 kilometres far from Maiduguri.
Some of the victims, consisting of a mom and a baby, were reportedly scorched beyond acknowledgment by a fire from a gas tanker set ablaze by the terrorists.
Witnesses said the terrorists, believed to be loyal to Abubakar Shekau, likewise abducted 22 individuals and charred 18 vehicles and properties worth millions of Naira.
