A Full Circle

A Full Circle

A Full Circle

Has anyone ever helped you without any reason?

Have you ever felt as if the Universe is doing you a favor because you made one for someone else?

If you have never experienced it, your day will surely come!

The feeling of being owed by the Universe is something else and yet it humbles you down more than anything else.

Experience the power of life as it moves in a full circle in the following story!

Once upon a time…

There was lady stranded in the middle of the road because her car broke down. She was old and frail and was driving alone. She had known it had been a bad idea since the beginning to take the car all on her own while travelling out of the city.

But when she had decided to leave for the trip, she had not foreseen the weather turning bad and her tire flatting out on her.

She stood in the middle of the road waving at the passing cars to stop, to ask for help. No one had stopped in the last couple of hours.

Suddenly, a man appeared at the end of the road. He was walking toward her. She looked around. There was a joint nearby. Perhaps, the man had just left it to go home. He was not very well dressed.

The old lady realized that she was all alone. This man could rob her and leave her for dead.

After a moment the man had reached her.

“Ma’am, do you need some help with your car?” He asked politely seeing quite clearly that the woman was afraid of him.

“Yes, my tire’s flat!” The lady gulped down and answered. Perhaps, he could help.

“Alright, I’ll change it. Why don’t you wait in the car while I replace it?” He answered her with a smile as she hurriedly jumped back into her seat.

The man changed the tire and as he got out from under the car, the lady pulled down her glass. “Thank you for your help? What do I owe you, Mr. -_?”

The man smiled. “Bryan,” he introduced himself then continued, “your prayers will do, ma’am.”

He had not helped her to get paid. He had helped because he felt he ought to.

“If you really want to pay me, just help someone else who might need it.”

The old lady drove away with a smile.

On her way, she stopped at a restaurant to eat.

As she was finishing up, she noticed that the waitress was about eight months pregnant and she was still working very hard and with a smile!

She felt sad for the lady but then she remembered Bryan. She left four 100 dollar bills on the table in addition to the bill.

When the waitress came to collect the bill, she found the excess money and a note that the lady had left for her. It brought tears to her eyes.

“You don’t owe me anything. Someone helped me too when I needed it. If you want to pay me back, help someone else who needs it.”

The waitress knew how much she had needed this money. She returned home feeling quite thankful. As she lay next to her husband she observed his exhausted form. He was as worried as she was about the baby and the expenses in her wake.

“We’ll get through it. God is with us. I love you, Bryan.”

The END

Moral: Life has the tendency to come a full circle! It works like a ripple effect.

When Bryan helped that old lady, he didn’t know that he was going to get his favor back! None of us do.

That’s the beauty of it. We should keep the chain of favors going on uninterrupted. Life will come full circle for us too!
