7 Interesting Facts about the North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un
Kim Jong-un is the present Chairperson of the Worker’s Party of Korea. He is also the leader of North Korea, known as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. He is the youngest son of King Jong-il and was hardly seen in public before his father’s death. However, he was immediately raised to the title of daejang soon after his father died.

He failed miserably in his academic life. He hardly ever passed any exam throughout high school. He was always involved in basketball and computer games. He had to leave the International School of Berne and take admission in a local state school, because he couldn’t handle the tough rules for discipline and academics. He was put in a low-tier grade in his new school.

While he was still a student in Switzerland, he developed many interests and passions. One of them was Swiss cheese, which is the favorite thing to have for the North Korean leader. Obviously, North Korea’s government now has to spend a lot on the purchase of Swiss cheese to keep the leader’s appetite satisfied.
A drastic increase in his weight gained attention and was linked with his love for cheese. However, the weight gain was a deliberate attempt to further resemble his grandfather.
