5 WAYS TO BUILD YOUR CREATIVE CONFIDENCE

5 WAYS TO BUILD YOUR CREATIVE CONFIDENCE

There is a difference between being creative and being clever. A clever student can grasp things easily and apply them. They are seen whenever results are out for the top in their class. Creative students may not be atop in their classes but can do things in extra ordinary way. They always find a new simpler way of doing things. Then there are students who do not know where they belong. They may not be clever but in a way creative yet cannot believe in themselves that they are. They always assume that their work is not good enough to be accepted as creativity. Whereas they can produce something big, they need that reassurance from their hearts to compel them to do and present their projects. If you fall under this category, the following points might help you build yours!

  • isolate the problem

Look for that one thing that makes you feel low or lose confidence in yourself. Once you get it, look into the contributing factors and find out what causes them. If possible, tell someone close or someone you trust about it. This will help you to be relieved.

  • explore possible solutions

Try to cut the causes of the problems. Where it is not possible, improving on them can help a great deal. Get to find out the positive things that will outweigh your negative side. And if you cannot rid it, look for better ways to live with it in a way that it can’t affect your confidence.

  • believe in yourself

Encourage yourself that you can do it. Rule out any negative emotions coming your way. Surround yourself with friends that believe in you and congratulate whenever you achieve something. Set a goal, work towards it. Should you achieve it reward yourself. Do not cease to remind yourself of the many talents and abilities you possess.

  • practice

Group all those projects that you are not confident about. Do and redo them until you get positive comments from your teacher/mentor. Ask assistance from those who know how to do them smartly. Try to emulate how they do it after some time you will have mastered the skill and gained more confidence.

  • stay positive

Stay cheerful and smile always. Take compliments even if you feel you don’t deserve them. Encourage others too who have the same problem as you. Above all, shun  and avoid self pity like a plague and never disapprove yourself in whatever you do. It is your work anyway done to your level best. Good luck!
