4 Amazing Ways To Boost Your Child’s Intelligence

How to stimulate your children’s intelligence. The joy of every parent is to have children that are reckoned to be doing well in their studies at school. It is their pride. How many people apart from parents want to associate with the never do well or people performing below their expectation? In a nutshell, intelligence is celebrated all over. It is a universal thing and we have come to realize its many benefits. The good news is no matter how redundant your child is at present, you can help him/her wake up to reality and boost his/her intelligence. As a parent, you have a lot to do to encourage the child while you also challenge him/her to sit up and be positive about life. Most times, our children take after us even in terms of intelligence. If you are intelligent, then your child will be but if otherwise, don’t expect any magic.

Here are 4 Amazing Ways To Boost Your Child’s Intelligence:

EXERCISE THEIR BRAIN

Everywhere we turn, we are reminded to carry out some forms of physical exercises that can be of benefit to our daily living. Just as this physical exercise is good to our body to the point of helping our health so is our brain. Encourage your ward to exercise his/her brain daily. Brain exercises come in form of games. Expose your children to creative games and not book-book all the time. Some parents can move their children from school to home lesson. This is too much! Allow your children to play with puzzles and other similar games like that. Remember ‘all work and no play….’ Susan Jaggi of university of California discovered that playing 25 minutes’ everyday increases your IQ by 4 points.

EXERCISE THEIR BODY

Take your children to gym with you. Supervise them on some bodily exercises though the Bible says it profits only a little, you can imagine how far that little will help them stimulate or boost their intelligence. Don’t turn your kids to bookworms. By running, jumping, skipping to football playing, they are exercising their body and you can’t believe the endorphins released by their body when they exercise are very healthy for the brain.

CONTINUOUS LEARNING

One major source of learning is reading of books. Buy story books for your kids. Help them plan their time table when they are still young so that they can incorporate reading in it. Let them develop the habit of reading anything readable though you have to guide them from reading what will pollute and corrupt their minds. From experience, children who read widely tend to be more intelligent.  You can check out from your kids’ school.

GOOD BALANCED DIET

No matter how poor at study your children are, just try and change their eating habit and you’ll be amazed how quickly, they’ll pick up in their studies.
