An old NUN

Daily Joke
Daily Joke

An old nun
who was living in a convent next to a construction site
noticed the coarse language of the workers
and decided to spend some time with them to correct their ways.

She decided she would take her lunch,
sit with the workers and talk with them.

She put her sandwich in a brown bag and
walked over to the spot where the men were eating.

She walked up to the group and with a big smile said:
"and do you men know Jesus Christ?"

they shook their heads and looked at each other very confused.

One of the workers looked up into the steelworks and yelled out,

"Anybody up there know Jesus Christ?"

One of the steelworkers yelled down 'why'?

The worker yelled back,

"Cos his wife's here with his lunch"

    Funny thing is, Rich,

Jesus - just like God - can never be known fully.

He who says he "knows" Jesus is delusional unless he's God himself.
His life path has been recorded in the Bible but can this short report possibly give a complete picture of him? I doubt it.

So many say "we're all gods" and I cringe each time because we may just have that divine blueprint of creation in us but we certainly have not mastered our game. So, YES, we have the potential but we're not there yet!

All I know is that if you ever find a friend who is willing to die for you, then you know someone who displays the same spirit as Jesus had, the spirit of self-less service to his father and the world that only through him was able to live.

Now, it's up to us to make whatever we can of what we've been entrusted with and start to LIVE LIFE ALIVE.

    Keep sparkling!

Jesus's life path while it has been recorded in the Bible cannot  possibly give a complete picture of him. I doubt it too... I am very suspicious of people who are like this.  Though I  must say that more has been written about this man that we do actually know or can find out more about this man than ANY other man in history..

Thanks for making me think RICH :0)
